Already in 2004 Monkey Banana started to design their own loudspeakers for their own recording studio. The background: The loudspeakers that were affordable did not meet the requirements. Trondheim Audio Devices

Trondheim Audio Devices is a Norwegian company founded by producer Jon-Tore Dombu. It all started with requests from studio customers who wanted the same bass sound live as they were getting in the studio.
After weeks of searching for existing solutions, he realised that there was no way to achieve this particular sound, without developing the hardware from scratch. A few months later, the first prototype was finally ready for testing, the sound was stunning and the company was founded with the motto ‘Great Sound Made Easy’.
